Care Home Transformed Into Buckingham Palace for Queen’s Jubilee

Inhabitants of a care house in Windsor woke up to find the facility had been transformed into a minor Buckingham Palace in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Crimson drapes, royal portraits, a hearth, and lavish decorations adorned the Mountbatten Grange care household, with a huge throne having middle stage. Afternoon tea, sandwiches, cakes and scones were being also well prepared.

People had been told that early morning to “dress to impress”, according to a push release, and had been greeted by workforce users dressed as the Queen’s Guard and a authentic-daily life corgi, named Marcel Le Corgi.

Kathleen Lewis, 98, stated: “We knew almost nothing about what was likely on – it was all performed so secretly. I believed it was amazing. It was rather a surprise!”
