COVID: Lowe’s offers personnel $80M in 7th reward of pandemic

Residence enhancement firm Lowe’s says it has offered out $1.3 billion in pandemic bonuses and neighborhood aid more than the past year.

Dwelling improvement organization Lowe’s says it programs to pay back out a further $80 million in bonuses to its workers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be also creating plans to retain the services of another 50,000 staff as it heads into the fast paced spring period. 

Lowe’s says the bonuses, heading out Feb. 5, will be $300 for full-time hourly staff and $150 for portion-time and seasonal personnel. The company says this will be its seventh pandemic-linked reward to workers which, put together with $150 million in donations to communities, comes to $1.3 billion.

Lowe’s suggests it is on the lookout to employ a different 50,000 total-time, part-time and seasonal staff as spring ways, which it states is its busiest time of 12 months.
