Nursing home transforms into Buckingham Palace for Queen’s jubilee

A nursing residence in the United Kingdom transformed its facility into Buckingham Palace in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. 

The country in early June marked 70 yrs of support considering that the queen’s accession to the throne with the yearly, times-extended celebration. The Mountbatten Grange Care Home in Windsor, Berkshire, amazed residents with their own exclusive celebration by decorating the facility, from top rated to bottom, with all of the royal fixings. 

Decorations incorporated team dressed up as the Queen’s Guard, purple drapes, royal portraits and a throne for citizens to sit in to mark the occasion.

Resident Kathleen Lewis, 98, described the occasion as “quite a shock.”
