Property intruder threatens man with rake right after waking him at 2.30am

A South Australian guy was threatened with a backyard garden rake by a property intruder who experienced ransacked his household though he slept.

Tim Warren was sleeping peacefully till just ahead of 2.30am nowadays when the stranger stumbled into his home of his Linwood Court docket household in Wynn Vale, Adelaide.

The intruder menaced Mr Warren with a backyard rake and demanded he hand over his cell phone.

When Mr Warren handed it over, the intruder fled.

“It truly is a entire-pronged metal rake, so if he had swung it at me, yeah, it wouldn’t be great,” Mr Warren explained.

Mr Warren explained he realised to his shock that he’d left the back again door unlocked.

“It is certainly a warning to men and women and myself, I’m originally from the state and I am a small bit free with safety,” he reported.

The intruder fled down the highway and ran into scrubland. A law enforcement dog was unable to find the man, but did come across things from Mr Warren’s property.
